Just found this after searching. Mine does the same thing. It started doing it after I installed the Defi BF Amber Premium oil pressure gauge and sensor.

Only does it when the car is at optimal operating temperature and after I get off the highway and come to a complete stop or when I pull it in the garage.

My car has 41K miles on it and I change the oil religiously every 3k miles. I also have plenty of oil in it and it does it occasionally.

yeah dude....$300 they came direct from greddy brand new in box lol. lancershop i believe had a mess up in their computer system or somthing cause they were listed there a WHILE back for 299.95 lol.

the greddy 264's are actually more aggressive than the hks 272's. well i shouldnt say more aggressive but they're although theyre a shorter duration (obviously) then the hks 272s, both the hks 272 and the greddy 264 exhaust cams have the same 10.3 lift and the hks 272 intake cam has a 10.2 as opposed to the greddy 264 at 10.3 intake.

not that big of a difference, but hey for $300 for brand new cams...ill take em

picked up a oem sensor for mitsu. I forgot to get a socket for it though. Found out that my prong was completely broke off. I think that might be the issue .

Sounds like a faulty oil pressure sending unit.Change it and then see if the problem still exists.

this just happened to me. i replaced the oil pressure switch ($7 at autozone) and it solved the problem. it was a pain in the butt to get at since it's mounted on the block underneath the intake manifold...had to remove the uicp and squeeze through all the hoses and wires. don't forget the special socket and high temp silicon gasket.

same thing happen to mine and I installed a honda switch on the spot
