Hey guys I have a HKS downpipe installed and also a Greddy profec e-01. Eveyrthing is set up now to 19 psi but the problem I am having is my BOOST will kick in at around 2000RPM which is
good but max boost will be 4500 RPM in first gear. WHy is that ?

4500 rpm is late??

My stock EVO hits max boost @4800 in 1st gear, 4500 in 2nd, 3900 in 3th, 3600 in 4th...

Is this normal?

Mine hits about 17.5 to 18 psi at 4500rpm in first gear
Second gear i think its close to 3500 rpm and 19 PSI to red
Thrid Gear 3500 rpm 19 psi to red
4th th gear 3500 RPM 19 psi to red

Ebc Settings are

Set 56
Gain 5
Start boost 16

why is mine so late comparing to yours?!

Is it because I don't have an EBC?

get some kind of BOOST controller and you should have your problem solved? Since the boost controller will come with there own BOOST solenoid .

Thankyou for posting the settings that you are using... But something that just dawned on me, could the adaptive learning curve affect this... Isn't every car a lil different in that aspect especially when we are talking a couple hundreds of a rpms...

Also using the same EBC or in general the same BC would really give this thread the right answer, or point it in the direction...
