No! I'm getting tired of people assuming the red doesn't spool fast enough for autox. You want to know the honest truth from someone who has autoxed the Red? The only diference I notice is that the car pushes more under power now and I'm hitting the rev limiter sooner. That's probably because I gained 100 whp when I switched to the Red.

How much power would I get if im running on ~28 psi on the BBK full???

if I have all the supporting mode(TBE with cat-del, cams, springs, retainers, head gasket, ARP headstuds, intake, BOV, intercooler with U/L piping, twin pump, 780+ injectors, exhaust manifold, and of course, a proper tune), would I get 400 WHP????

In real world, what cars would I be able to compete with??? can I pull with Ferrari 430 for instance since we have almost the same power and torque??(400 WHP/360 lb-ft)???

I care about response the most, and thats why Im sticking with the BBK; plus, the torque curve is the best I have seen so far.. Almost flat!!!

Please help!!! Professionally .. and ThanX n advance..

It's always tough to "estimate" power output... but if you're talking DynoJet or similar dynos, 400 shouldn't be to bad... it really depends on the supporting mods though.. i.e. good intercooler with a good core (not Ebay or similar), cams, and most importantly the tune.

As far as "real world" power, my buddy has a 430 Scuderia and just messing around with him (on a closed course of course) on a roll from 40, he pulled me maybe by 1/2 a car... we didn't really have a chance to really go at it though (slower traffic, lapped cars, etc.)...

YMMV of course.

Please email us if you have further questions or if we may help in any way!

Take care,

Caleb

Caleb
and how much was ur car packing at that time??? WHP/TQ??? Dyno???

I dont want to measure my power on a dyno dynamics!! its like a mother telling her baby "u're a superman"!!! I want real numbers that tell me my actual performance!!!

I might be weird at this, but how do u compare ur intercooler to buschur's??? Which one is better???

as far as cams, Ill be having GSC S2s, and a good exhaust manifold(no ebay crap here)!!

My car made 375/330 on our Mustang Dyno just for comparison sake.

Our IC uses the same Garrett core the Buschur Race IC uses... Our tanks were designed so that there is no trimming of the front crash beam, and you can also use any stock location lower intercooler pipe. Both are killer pieces for sure! You have great cams with the S2s... I think it will be a killer combination with the right tune. One of our BBK Full clients (atkins on here) has nearly the same setup and made 399whp here on 93. Contact him and see what his impressions of the car are.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...k-ftmfw-2.html <---Linky to his thread. Note post #27 where we installed our intercooler...

I love my bbk. Stock WGA, no uprated wga, new intake, oil line needed. Spools a bit better than the red and makes torque a lot earlier than the red (more than just how much faster it spools), and can make red-like power on a proper setup.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...-gas-alky.html

That's about446whp/394wtq (pump) and 500whp/450wtq (alky) on a dynojet.

Do it

Caleb, i'm making 395atw/355ft/lb at 28psi on 93 pump.Usual mods plus cams.Do you or chad think it's worth fitting a better intake manifold or porting the standard head .Or will the gains be very small compared to the price??

The GST posts were the most informative as they showed same dyno, same cars, with different turbos....The Red had a tad more peak power but the BBKs had a much broader power curve (and area under the curve was greater)...
