So basically, this would be an "upgrade" similar in scope to upgrading the 10.5T Evo8 turbo to the larger compressor of the Evo9?

Obviously, we don't know if the outcome will be similarly advantageous, but the intent appears to be the same. If anyhbody buys one and wants sell me their Evo9 compressor housing and wheel, let me know.

BTW, found a 20G thread on another forum:

http://www.socalevo.net/forum/index....487.msg7427034

Pretty interesting comparo info about half way down.

Anybody know if this compressor and wheel would bolt to a 10.5 Evo8 turbo? Seems it might...

sounds like your playing with fire...

$400 to rebuild it. $200 for the upgrade. Your at 600.

Still seems worry some to me.
