EVO 11.5 Hotside, anybody try it?

Ebay 11.5 EVO IX Turbine Housing

It may be questionable on material quality, and may not even really be larger. Just wondering if anybody has ordered one of these yet and tested it out?

They also have a TD06SL2 version and TD06SL2R turbine wheel that you can get.

Ebay 11.5cm^2 TD06SL2 Turbine Housing

TD06SL2R Turbine Wheel

Could be kind of interesting to use with the 25G compressor if they have a TD06HR turbine wheel. I wouldn't want to use it with the SL2 though.

Questionable at best....I don't think I could trust a product that is listed as having an 11.5 A/R lol. That would be one strange turbine housing. If they can't even describe the item with correct terminology, I don't trust it.

I have also been interested in this, but I think I asked Aaron about these and obviously it may just be a cast piece of a ported 10.5cm housing...? But from the pic it looks like the WG flap is larger...or is that just me...? I would love to test it or see it tested.

You cant, thats why someone has to take that first step and just buy it and test it.

Yup. That's the point of me asking, I obviously trust the company very little.

I don't think it is a typo, I think they are marketing it as an upgrade over the 10.5 housing and ment to put 11.5.

I'd like to find out if it actually is larger than the 10.5 housing though. I don't really need the larger housing, but on something like a HTA Green or Black, it might be beneficial if you got FP to cut it for their wheel.

A turbine housing I'm less worried about on quality provided it actually is larger. If it cracks, it cracks. I'd be much more hesitant to use any of their turbo parts that rotate though and could potentially cause other engine damage if it failed.

That is the big question^^^ If someone bought one would FP even cut it for the green, red or black?

I emailed the company...I just really want to know if its actually bigger before I even think about it. I could care less who makes it, if its actually 11.5. I found this when searching (post #17):
