Neither. Don't waste your money. Either spend the money on a GOOD aftermarket tubular manifold or get the stock one prted.

I bought my Megan over a year ago used and it still hasn't cracked. That's good in my eyes. I would like to get a big baller manifold though...

Nah figured I could throw on a turbo header and get the same result ya know lol j/k. In my sig shows the items I have already picked up and gonna use a aftermarket evo mani and weld a 4G94 flange to it, there are a couple new mannys on this site members are selling and I think I am going to pick one of them up but wanted your opinions on these two brands. I know they are both imitators and not HKS, or Perrin etc. but hey my base lancer is gonna be an imitator so what are ya gonna do lol. Any advice besides neither would be a great help guys!!!

Well the reality is those cheaper mani's have been prone to cracking. When using one there is always going to be that risk, that is why many evo owners simply port the stock manifold. There are tubular mani's that are not prone to cracking and are thicker and much better quality, but they also cost a lot of money, 600+, some closer to the 900 range. If a ported stock evo manifold is not an option, and you cannot afford an expensive tubular manifold, I would say the megan will be ok for at least a little while.

Ya I plan on upgrading to prolly a custom mani but for now I cant afford that and I unfortunately cannot weld the stainless 4G94 Flange to a cast manifold or I would definately go that route. Also to make it a little stronger which ever one I get I will probably weld in some support bracket to help some with support of the turbo weight.

Ok guys sorry but I CANT USE the stock one lol I dont have an evo I have a lancer es 2003, I cannot weld the flange I need for my engine onto a cast manny or else I would. I would love to use the cast one but unfortunately I am goin to have to get a custom one as I am using an evo 8 turbo but cannot afford one right now.

megans are garbage, xs power is even worse. BUT if its a minimal dollar build then i guess Megan.

if your going to cut the flange off i wouldnt waste the money on a 600-1200 dollar manifold.

buy the megan and maybe you will be lucky.
