I have had great success with my Judge Racing ported intake manifold. Went 10.80@125.97mph on my stock turbo with the Stage 1 port and so far 10.301@132.7 mph on my FP Red on the stage 2 port with my clutch slipping.

Also Skunk 2 just released a stock fitment intake manifold for under $500.

AMS F1 Intake manifold is looking very promising. I know when I switched to the VSR I lost about 200 rpms of spool but gained a BUNCH of power mid to up top which is where my car needed it.

Its all about your application to the O.P.

I had a 2.3 liter with a small turbo upgrade AMS 50trim. I had the spool up so losing alittle with the VSR and gaining a bunch up top made sense for me. most aftermarket intake manifolds will make power but as stated where they make power is the key.

I have been extremely pleased with my Magnus cast intake manifold. I didn't lose any spool and picked up quite a bit of hp/tq. Here is the thread with my results before and after https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ex...s-amazing.html (the only thing changed was the im). I have no opinion/comparison for any of the other aftermarket manifolds as this is the only one I have used, however I could not have been happier with the Magnus.

We've had excellent results with the Wilson V2.3+ manifold. Our MPH results speak for actual whp numbers, since it's common knowledge that mph is a direct result of whp. Some things previously posted as 'facts' simply put, aren't. Here's the facts: The Fastest MPH FP-Geen, 133.70-Wilson Manifold, The Fastest MPH FP-RED, 145.16- Wilson Manifold, Fastest MPH Evo IX -157.90, on a single pass of the FP-HT3586-Wilson Manifold. Dyno numbers don't always tell the story. Not too sure how readily available they are, but if you're looking for 'best' as in highest power level, we use the Wilson Manivolds V2.3+

It's not like it isn't in the top 10 threads in this subforum or anything

The TB mention is towards the end, maybe page 11 or so?

The Skunk2 is looking promissing from a design and price perspective. I haven't seen any results though.

Very true, but they are both very expensive.

If its a good investment cast piece, it will be plenty smooth.

You can hand port probably 90% of it anyway.
