Spec super twin disc install
I don't have the NLTS enabled in my rom anymore and I don't plan on enabling it again. I wanted to give it a try, mainly to let others know the capabilities of the clutch, but I couldn't get it to work.
I spent a fair amount of time adjusting my clutch and almost thought I had it worked out but within another 50 miles of driving the chattering started to come back and it is slowly starting to shudder/jerk while starting from a stop again. I'm going to spend a little time this weekend making very small/minor adjustments and see if I can find one that at least minimizes the problem and stays that way.
I have a p-trim with 3500 miles on it. A stock IX transmission with 35000 miles on it and the stock MC as well. I have a ss upper clutch line.

haha, you're waiting on me, and I'm waiting on E85evo8. My spare vehicle is stuck in the back yard as the DB who owns the junk evo won't come get it. its about to end up in his front yard-upside down.
as far as diagnosing anything, there's nothing really left to diagnose without taking the trans out, so that's where I'm at. Pretty much no matter how you slice this, its going to cost me a couple hundred bucks (trans and t-case oil, updating the tag/reg on the spare vehicle that I haven't needed in two years, etc). and it'll have to get stored either apart in my driveway (see above), or stored at someone's shop. the race car has parts scattered all over my own shop. Anyway, enough about that. I'm waiting to hear back on the ST that was slipping.
Last time I checked, spec wasn't open on saturdays, and I'm not taking time off from work to drive up there during the week.

1500 miles on mine so far... No changes to report..
I am getting tuned next friday... so we will see what this clutch can hold power wise...
I will keep everyone posted as I always do.

This clutch cannot shift fast for some reason. It feels totally different from the carbonetics I had before. I see a few more people are having problems with the clutch since I've checked the thread. I've also have some more problems to report. Ive replaced the Master Cylinder as suggested by SPEC and I still have all of my problems. It has changed nothing and did not improve drive ability at all. I've noticed that if i put it in gear on a flat surface the car would move forward. However if i take it out of gear and put it back without lifting my clutch foot it does not move forward. 1st and Reverse are almost impossible to get in and out of after the car is parked overnight( yea i warm my car up for 10 mins). Still grind and pops out of gear. Engagement is horrible and getting worst. Even worst then the six puck ACT clutch on my cousins evo.

your problems are exactly what problems I was having.....I now have the QM/MAP setup and it is night and day difference!
I keep shouting this in ALL the various clutch threads (cause there are threads with these problems with almost every single manufacturer), but what you are describing is one of two things. Either the clutch hydraulic system is not properly adjusted/bled, or more likely than not the discs were ever so slightly warped upon install. I generally lean toward the latter on these. The disc (s) are lightly dragging on the flywheel when disengaged. That's what causes the creep when trying to go into gear from a stand still. Be willing to bet that in the same instance, with the car turned off, it will go into gear like butter. Of course it would, nothing is interacting between the disc (s) and the flywheel then.
Bet most of these clutches when pulled will have hotspots. However, people are going to "think" it was from "launching" the car or what not. Reality is it was anytime the clutch pedal was depressed. I can say this from personal experience with my own Exedy twin HD... shame on me.
I wanted to have the clutch out the door on it's way to Spec to see if something did get warped. I hope it is something obvious....I didn't launch my car once with the Spec twin in the car. I haven't launched my car since I bought it.....
