Boost control troubles after upgrades

My old setup:
Hallman boost controller
3" exhaust with high flow cat
GSC 272I/264E cams

New stuff installed today:
ported and coated exhaust manifold
Megan O2 housing
FP Evo Green turbo
Cat delete pipe

Everything seems to be in order. Idle is the same as before the mods. The engine doesn't stumble and seems to run fine. However, I'm having boost issues. I had to turn the boost controller down three turn to keep it from going over 20psi, but I don't think that is a problem. The boost curve is not very good. See the attached before and after logs.

Any ideas?

Bump

Does this look like a boost leak? Or boost control circuit issue?

I'm sure I placed the cap on the turbo outlet nipple. I think I tightened everything well. The only boost controller line affected was the wastegate actuator nipple and I reinstalled that. I did buy the turbo used, so I'm not sure of the wastegate actuator type or adjustment. It is a stock looking actuator.

You think you tightened everything? that's where the problem maybe. You have to do a boost leak test to determine that. I used to think everything is tightened but after I did boost leak test, I realized factory hose just don't seal well.

Boost leak test is always the first step.

Are you sure the MBC is installed correctly ? Also you appear to be having the Megan boost creep issue (my guess is this will become more evident once you fix your boost issue)...

You may want to check your MBC before getting too stressed...Take it off and test it with a compressor and extra vacuum lines....I had a similar problem with an old MBC setup and had the lines switched ....

Could this be boost creep?

I'll test for a boost leak sometime this week. I don't have access to my test tools at the moment.

I turned the boost controller up 1.5 turns and the pressure hits 20psi +/- 1psi. I'll post a log later. So, I think this was boost creep due to the low setting of the MBC. I have not checked for boost leaks yet. I'll try to do that later this week.
