Just got the APEXi AVC-R & SAFC-II on my Evo, after the extensive reading on the manual, still have no clue to tuning it fast.

My car has a cone air filter (airbox removed), otherwise all stock. I am particular not clear about the F/B speed, Learn Gear, Start Duty, etc.

I set it at 1.5kg/cm2 boost level starting from 2500rpm and taper down to 1.3kg/cm2 at 7000rpm. I can feel the car is smoother than before and it lost the turbo lag (i kind of miss that!) The car feel really fast on 3rd & 4th gear. But on 1st & 2nd, the car seems has little improvement over stock.....

I have not tune the SAFC-II yet, but I would like to get the boost level set before i go into the SAFC-II.

I am running 91 octane all the time.

Also, anybody knows about the reading on the A/F what is the higher number means (1-20) and what is the lower number means? I guessed the 14-16 is the optimal range.
