started installing my fp red today...

so i took everything out of my car today to install my fp red and everything was going relatively smooth except for a stud came out when i was taking off the exhaust manifold but then when i put the wrench on my o2 housing bolts they were all so loose i could unscrew them with my finger. my gasket is screwed and now i have an open engine bay and no gaskets. does anyone know where i can get them fast? also how can i prevent these bolts from backing out again? i have heard of this problem, but is the only solution checking them every now and then?

i needed to vent but advise would be greatly appreciated! thanks

thanks...yeah the stud isnt a biggie but the gaskets are pretty bad and i was hoping they would be in good shape. im just scared that the bolts to the o2 housing will not back out again.

you can get them from FP. I put my Red in last weekend. Their gaskets are pretty good and cheaper then the factory. The whole set is like $35 and they had them in stock. Its a good piece of mind to replace them all any way.

Overnight if you want to pay the shipping cost. They're not very heavy, and would probably fit in a large shipping envelope...

Dammmmmm, that sucks. did you soak everything in PB blaster???? This is the number one reason I'm getting all new hardware and gaskets when I get ready to bolt in my evo9 turbo. For the new studs you can put some thread lock on it and make sure to smear everything with anti-seize.
