Attention Quartermaster and Spec clutch users

We all have the same hydraulic tob, so I thought I'd see what you guys did. Did you bench bleed the tob, or just install it and bleed it in the car. Also, what method did you use to bleed it (pressure bleeder, vacuum bleeder, pump the pedal)? I feel like mine is not completely void of air, but I have bled it many times by pumping the pedal. I just ordered another brake reservoir cap and am going to build a pressure bleeder this week, but I thought I'd get your input in the mean time. Thanks.

i just installed my spec with the hydraulic TOB. when they say fill the reservoir full that doesn't mean to the max line. u need to fill and keep it full to the top of the reservoir like your going to overfill it and keep it full.

Actually depending on when your QM clutch was purchased the TOB can be different. All of their current clutches come with the new style. I have their old style type which is a little more harsh on the engagement. The newer TOB feels alot better and engages very easily.

I bled mine with an ezybleeder, pressurized the master cylinder with fluid, then just opened up the bleed nipple until clear of air. Clutch and pedal has been spot on since this was performed.

I just bled it with a little piece of hose. Just like anything else.
