I wonder how much this will extend the life of your wire harness and connectors in that area - injector pigtails, tps etc. The plugs and wire insulation tends to get brittle with all the heat exposure.

People do get "performance" minded a little too much sometimes and do not look at, Does this part help my car work longer too.
You could argue, with the drop in Manifold temps my Map sensor and Injectors would not be exposed to that heat now.
You're better off getting a real phenolic rather than a piece of plastic. The real phenolic materials are reddish brown like the one at the top of this page.
You need two oem gaskets to sandwich the phenolic and prevent leaks.
English Racing supplies new, longer, hardware with their Phenolic gasket. Didn't know about the other two OEM gaskets sandwiching it though. I used some copper gasket spray on mine. Need to do a boost leak test for sure now.

THat's what MAP suggested/supplied when I purchased my phenolic from them.
