Injectors...

I am getting ready to go with a larger turbo and starting to research different injector options. Do all of the injectors use the same spray pattern? Are some considered better than others (if so why)? I have read that PTE test and package injectors that are within 1% of each other....Thanks in advance

I will be running pump (91 octane)...I know some injectors are not approved for e85, but I believe that has to do with the corrosive nature of the fuel, not the spray pattern...

I am just wondering if folks have analyzed the spray patterns of the different injectors and if there are any benefits of one over another?

The higher the alcohol content the more corrosive a fuel. Whether it is an issue with a fuel injector or not, I am not sure....That said, PTE does not warranty injectors run with e85.

The evolutionm e85 is a corrosive link does not contain any data. Again, I am not concerned about e85 (corrosive or not), so lets just forget about that debate ...

So has anyone evaluated the spray patterns of different injectors or not ???

E85 is not really corrosive(methanol is) but it WILL react with aluminum, magnesium, and rubber. Sort of like water isnt really corrosive, but has anyone ever thrown pure sodium into water? Not a good mix.

PTE injectors have a good spray patter, I know guys that have tested them to have spray patterns like smaller injectors. The Bosch 1000cc are really nice too, if you want a large injector thats easy to tune and will give a good idle, those are the ones to get. They are expensive though!
