You mean a dyno? Not a fully tuned but I believe this port job to be worth a solid 15whp/20wtq. I was estimating I would be around 365whp/320wtq (pump) and 410whp/370wtq (alky) before the port job. Untuned (used modified tune from previous setup w/ some street tuning) at the MitsuStyle.com spring dyno day I put down about 368whp/320wtq (pump) and 398whp/370wtq(alky) so the numbers are about right per my estimations.

Then, I got the head ported and went back to the dyno for a full tune by shane @ DB Performance and put down a solid 38xwhp/340wtq (pump) and 432whp/398wtq (alky). The gains are definitely there, but I will stress that you NEED a re-tune after porting your head, it's not really a bolt-and-go type power mod; tuning is required to get the most out of it!

I'm sorry, I meant dyno but the iPhone corrected it and put "dump".

Oh and of course I'll tune after that. That is a major mod, plus I usually tune after mods. Thanks. I might have Headgames do it but I'm keeping an open mind and like to see other work.

That is a fact indeed. I'm not sure when AMS stopped using Headgames but their heads were certainly done by Dave for some time.

We are certainly not just a shop that just sells someones else's head, or gets the head ported by the guy down the street and call it ours...all HeadGames heads are just that. All done in house, flow tested, dyno proven and race winning and all with state of the art, brand new equipment (well, 5yrs old)

pics speak for themselves...packages start at $1299-2199 and free shipping here with a box sent to you to make it easy!

BTW: thanks guys for the kind words, we work hard for it.

Do you have any before/after dyno sheets of the gains you have seen w/ one of your heads on an Evo? Would like to see what sort of power you are picking up.

to be honest, I do not. We work with a few shops, I will ask Sean @IveyTune to send one maybe later today. We worked closely with Ivey and DTM with their tuning and dyno knowledge to come up with our post AMS style head design. Gains depending on turbo size and tuner are anywhere from 50-140whp.

Just talked to Ivey, he's in Cali practicing his wizardry and won't be back to later this week. The example I was looking for is a head we did for a customer of his, that laid down 605/504 with a popular forum ported cylinder head and 705/585 with ours

Brad at RLZ Engineering. Tony Palo of T1 Performance runs one of his heads. Tony's car is now the quickest NHRA SFWD in the country. 9.43@156.81. Be prepared as Brad is neither quick nor extremely cheap. Those of you in the Honda world know who I'm talking about. Seems the guys over at GSC Motorsport are also now offering headwork in-house but I have yet to see any dyno figures. Just remember to keep the headwork tailored to where you want power. Just my $0.02.
