I was given an oem exhaust manifold and it has been tapped for an get gauge in the runner. I need to know the thread pattern and best way to seal off that tap. Thanks in advance.

 

It is most likely 1/8"npt, I could be wrong.

Did you even try a 1/8 npt plug yet?

I had the same thing happen to me when I sent out my headers out for my old eight. They ended up making an EGT hole which I didn't need. I went to my local fastenal to pick it up-check around your area.

 

I have an Autometer EGT and Ken Masters is right, it is 1/8th npt.
