Newest dyno sheets - 291 WHP!! w/ Exhuast and EBC ! 93 octane
We had a couple of Evos from Mass where the gas is lower octane come down to the Pruven Dyno for some Dyno Flashing today
Couldn't belive it when we wrote a new map which made 291 whp with only 1.3 bars boost and 93 octane - mods HKS down pipe - stock cat and HKS cat back - Apexi boost controller - intake - this car really tore *** on the test drive after the tune - a 40 whp gain (his stock sheet did have a little dip up to 260 at the end of the curve but most of his power band was at or about 240)

The other guy was totally stock - same 93 octane fuel - and another great Dyno flash result
261 WHP on a bone stock evo with 93 octane !!!!!!!!
The more cars we tune the more we realize that through the mail flashing on evos will NEVER get you a safe and agressive tune - there is far too much car to car variance - the maps are all vastly different

I'm really impressed by the dynoflash. When Al mention my car is making 280whp, I was really happy with the output. When Al show me the last result, it was a total surprise for me.

It's worth that 3 hours drive from Boston.
The most interesting thing was on your car we actually found MORE power making your car richer and running it down in the high 10's on a/f ratio !!!!!! We were just finishing out tuning sesssion by adding in more fuel to make it safer on 93 octane but we actually picked up some extra free hp !!!
Its amazing how strong your car feels with so few mods !!!!!!

Yep keeps the timing up witch is how you are making more power on pump gas. Timing control is very important even on a almost stock car or even a stock car to make the most power safely. Good job big guy. That's why a SAFC just does not make sense to me for EVOs and WRXs. To make the same power with a super Afc the A/F have to be much leaner.
Al can you post up the a/f curve for this dyno tune.

This may be a dumb question ... but how do you reflash?
You plug a cable to to the stock ecu and remap with a laptop? Or you put in a new chip?
Just curious and want to learn. Too bad Im in the Phil and support like this aint easy to come by.

I interested in that also... I am currently going to be working on installing the emanage and the Eo1... If it is still possible for Pruven to tune it and dyno flash, i'll be up there in a month or so once i am loaded with more mods for proper tuning...
