Question regarding Evo w/ACD

Ok, I have tried again to bleed the ACD but it still has not solve the problem. Possibly it's a bad ACD pump. I schedule an appointment to get it checked this Wednesday. My question is, Evo with ACD in the TC, is it safe to disable the ACD and drive without it? For example, I was thinking of unplug the ACD ECU and perhaps remove the pump out of the motor. I know it's a stupid question but I want to see if it's safe to do so. As far as I know, ACD suppose to help in different condition ie Dry or Wet Tarmac, Gravel roads and snow when cornering. I don't plan on attacking every corner at 60mph. Thanks and hope to get some real answers.

It won't hurt anything to run it with no pump. My pump is shot and have been driving with it for a couple of weeks like that. I scheduled to go in to have it changed in about a week.

Um I always thought that It WOULD harm something driving with no pump. I could be wrong.

Then again, in the first post of that 2nd link, Smikeevo has been driving with a dead acd pump for years. So I actually don't know at all, sorry!
