not to mention how many more reds there are out there then BBK and how many more get beaten to death then the BBK's too

I agree the new BBK has much potential, but to insinuate the Red is basically junk is crazy

Also i will agree FP needs to get their **** together. I tried calling them about getting a new piece to my already FP equipped car and never answered the phone and never got a call back. Not good business practice in my eyes.

The red destroys the current bbk full with ease. I belive its over 10 lb/min flow difference.

FOR FREE... NO WAY...

You sure that FP doesn't tell all these turbo owners that blow their turbos from high boost, like you stated, that their turbo blew because of over spinning the turbo? Ya, the oil line may have some reasoning behind this but FP can just tell everyone that the turbo was operated above the advertised/max shaft speed. Done... FP wins the battle

You may be right but I don't think I have ever seen the lb/min flow advertised for the BBK Full.... It would be good info to know if Chad would like to chime in

Agreed! Not everyone can be a baller!

If you're referring to me, then you are wrong. I'd love to own a red and there is a chance i might, down the road. But as of right now, i'd rather give CBRD my money, therefore i anxiously await BBK XL results.

Its funny that most users say the Red destroys the BBK Full, however I have asked a few tuners/shops out here in CA via PM and they all seem to recommend the BBK.

This thread is pointless. BBK-XL does not even exist yet! My car makes FP Red power. With a BBK-XL it'll probably be a little closer power profile to a red (slightly more lag, slightly more top-end).

Again, the BBK-XL does not exist, so why bother comparing it to anything! Might as well compare it to the HTA Green, since there's such a plethora of dyno info about it :P

All of these turbos are fun as hell. Look for the one with the most proven results for values you find important, save your pennies, and order one!

i dont know what shops you were talking to seriously must have horrible tuners there. Each turbo is used for a different application not the same. So you really cant truely compare the two. as stated above me SAVE THE MONEY FIRST that means 2000 then once you have the funds LOOK AT THE DATA. a red can get you in the 9 with right set up i dont think a bbk has even ran 10s yet but i seem to remember them mentioning the bbk was not really a drag race turbo. MORE for autox and road fun. Does that mean the red cant do that as well nope. One thing i will say about the bbk vs the red is you will get your bbk quicker then a red but i got my red in 4 days of order personally i would get 2000 in your hands to see if you can parts ways with that much money hell you may never end up with one if you have hella bills or other things arise. Not to mention there are SOOOOOO many turbo upgrades out there and ones that have not been released yet something new will always come out. Btw the thread is pointless you cant even say the bbk Xl is in the same leauge as the red until it comes out and somebody buys it for testing.

I do agree that comparing the red vs an unrealased turbo is pretty silly.

and Rockman, I have to admit I was talking for mostly "street-use" however it would also be assumed that most people with a Red/Green/BBK are looking for a street-setup or they would have something much larger IMO.

This thread is a little premature. As far as the general public has been informed, Chad hasn't even tested/made a billet bbk-xl yet. /Thread

Btw everyone talking about the Red taking forever to deliver. Is this the same issue with ordering through random vendors on this site? Or do none of those vendors actually have anything in stock and they just order it from FP after you order through them?

Depends on timing. A lot of vendors post when they have the Reds in stock, and you can get them shipped almost immediately if you can get a hold of them in time. Most of the time, you just order it from FP or another vendor and wait for it to be delivered. I ordered mine through MAP and received it within 2 weeks, but mine seems to have been a shorter waiting time than average. Mine was also a recent order (end of July).

I have seen the XL put down more power then the bbk full already and I have seen a bbk full last with a guy who has blown up several reds. That's all the proof I need on top of seeing how fp can handle some of their customers. I'm sure plenty will hate me but Im not a fp supporter in the least. It's not a debate, I have nothing to prove to anyone or anything to loose by someone not liking my views.
