from what i see
the BBK respond better to stock evo without any supporting mod will make more whp vs the RED
the RED will be better if you have the supporting mod with it

and the turnover rate of CBRD is amazingly fast

My red is fun at only 20 psi... of course thats about as far as I can go on stock injectors.

My 950's are sitting on the shelf waiting for MAP to get me new seals..

Then 26'ish psi on pump should prove to be fun.

I went with the FP Red because it has been proven and Forced Performance's reputation is 2nd to none. I have also had good results with the FP Green on my 2G DSM, which made my decision that much easier. Plus, results like this don't hurt:

The new CBRD turbo looks interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs on other members' cars.

Their rep is no where near as good as you think. Sure many have had good experiences with them but there's plenty who haven't. I have done some porting work on several of their stock style turbos and was far from impressed. I'm not trying to start a flame war here as I'm sure the fp nutswingers are close behind me, just letting you know the facts.

I agree. FP makes good products but the customer service is not the best. When I call FP, the only person I'll speak with is Scott... This helps to diminish the problem.

Chad at CBRD is an amazing guy from what I know and have heard. He is in the community to help people. CBRD consist of three people and they are surpassing FP ten fold in customer service and turn around time. I also understand that FP has a lot more customers but they also have the support to be better...

Sorry but you're talking about nut swinger yet you're already swearing by the BBK over a turbo that's proven. That to me is Nutswinging. I'll bet that BBK-XL isgoing to be sweet but I can only asume it is until it's PROvEN

+1 I don't like people that throws a nut-job at products that have not been proven. I hope to be one of the first with a BBK-XL to test its ability on stock motor. If it is anything like the BBK Full then we have a good turbo in the making. Like you said. Nothing is golden till proven.

So if this debate is coming up vs the BBK-XL then does that mean the Red destroys the current BBK setup?

Yes, there have been problems but that's the same with every part on the market. They have more failures then CBRD but they also sell more products so who is anyone to compare the two!!!

How about no. The turbo failures came from high boost applications and low oil pressure from the head. This problem has been solved by a new oil feed location. All blown Reds were replaced for FREE!
