Could it be they're recommending it due to the crappy gas in CA? Or possibly just because they want to turn their customers around as fast as possible and FP doesn't have that capacity at this time.

While we are discussing theoretics, I'm sure the FP Black will give you a reach-around everytime you're in high boost! Let's start arguing lefty or righty as the preferred method!

All comes down to flow. Can't deny that fact. As for proving something, the FP Red has done that and some. And the poor fella that shelled out all that cash for all of those blown red turbos hopefully sold the car.

I heard the FP Black gave Chuck Norris a run for his money.

Not sure what to get....The FP Black or the BBK XXXL

Still a toss up.

That is a very strong possibility. I would take a BBK over the red or green if I had to run only 91pump

Haha, you guys are too funny I only get worked when people trash a proven product only to promote their own. Maybe I'll make false claims to try and further support my biased opinion....haha

well it's not about flow to everyone. If it was yes I would own a red. Well actually no I would own a 6765 or what not. Durability, price, service etc trump flow imo. Hence why I own a bbk. Does the red perform great? Yes, without a doubt, I will not argue with that at all. However that has nothing to do with why I brought up their reputation. You can choose not to believe me when I te you I have seen some garbage come from them first hand. I have seen some of that garbage perform very poorly as well and certain people at fp try and place blame and not own up to it. I have also seen how difficult it can be to do business with them first hand as I tried to get a green around when they were released. I know plenty of people who will no longer do business with them for similar reasons also. You can choose to defend them and/or tell me I'm full of ish but it is what it is. When I shell out my $1800 or whatever, the way I see it panning out is like this. Make call and order turbo, recieve turbo less then a week later, install on car and make great power, drive my car happily for as long as the part is on there... That's why I chose to purchase what I did and that's exactly what I got.. I do not have the faith in fp that they could deliver flawlessly on all those points.

I agree with the service, wait time, etc. I'm sure there are some bad eggs out there but it seems there are people trying to call Reds in general a junk turbo. As for flow, I know there's more to it than that. I'm just summarizing what I want to post because om on my I-Phone.

I didn't call them all junk by any means. Just stating that their reputation isn't spotless like the guy had made it seam, and from what it looked like you basically said I was full of ****. Which even still is fine, doesn't bother me. But when spending that kind of money plenty of things come into question and for people to think that they are a perfect business in all aspects is pretty misleading imo. Just showing that's there's another side to things that's all.

Chad has stated it will be released already so no worries there. At this time there's no hard data on the final billet version but the non billet version has been impressive.

dang, that's what i love about evom - time travelers!
(good comment, well said. i caught the sarcasm, hopefully others will too, and realize how ridiculous it is to compare turbos when one hasn't even been released into the wild yet)
