Has anyone tried using the HKS SSQV bov with the recirculating kit offered. There is also a flange mounting kit to mount it to intercooler piping. Anyone got any opinions/experiences with either one of these. I was considering either forge or turboxs recirc. bov's, but it seems forge has a lot of problems with fluttering. Turboxs is kinda iffy. Want a high quality product but recirculating bov is a MUST, cannot let myself buy a vta. Any ideas?

Don't be another victim. HKS SSQV has problem with Evo 8 even with recirculating kit install. I can say majority Evo 8 owner with HKS SSQV has problem of stalling. There is only a few Evo 8 owner running HKS SSQV without any problem.

Unless you like to adopt those special driving method , stay away from HKS SSQV.

Majority of SSQV with VTA setup stalls... But I havent heard any issues where the SSQV with recirc stalls. have tested quite a few BOVs in the past with my WRX, I must say that the SSQV is one of the better BOVs in the market. The reason why the car stalls doesnt have anything to do with the BOV...but the MAF sensor and the electronic map of the car.
