I had the O2 housing and TBE on and did not have any boost creep. I have heard some stories about that though, but mostly boost creep stories are caused by O2 dumps without a tune.

I have since added more parts and still no boost creep. Currently I am looking to purchase a couple more bolt on items and then go for a custom tune.

The ebay part is great for the cost, but of course there are some better products out there. But for like $50 shipped it is really a good find that many people on here are using.

 

I might try to tackle this next week after I feel better from this "swine flu" . The college is nothing but a nest of swine flu'zd ppl

haha that is rough about the swine lol. washington state university i just heard got hit hard with it.

definately read through the how to a couple times. it would be 100X easier if it were up on a lift too. after completing it u will be so happy and feeling like u could do it again in about ten minutes lol.

 

get an o2 housing, makes a noticeable difference.

 

I've been sneezy all day with a running nose and on top of that my throat hurts .

I'm going to try to get a hold of a lift if I can

Thanks to all for advice and encouragement , I might just do this myself once I get better . For now I must rest so that I can get over this " whatever I have" sickness

Load up on vitamin c bro and eat warm foods . My throat was hurting bad when I wokeup today , a female friend from the gym said sore throat and aching body are small signs of the swine flu , BUT she also said the symptons for it vary in each case . She knows her stuff because she works at a hospital . FUU my head is spinning , i'm out everybody . PEACE

 

We should have a EVO garage meet in Houston, we can all give each other a hand with their EVO, I'm planning to do the Ebay o2 and Megan Down pipe sometimes next few weeks in my garage. After that i will take my 05 VIII.5 to Secret Services Auto for test pipe and V-brands weld on to my 80mm greddy exhaust. Maybe LICP and a street tune with mbc for little extra kick....

There is a meet every tue. and fri. I believe , not quite sure because I haven't been to a evo meet before. Does your test pipe not bolt-up to your catback exhaust? How much is SS charging you to do that?

 

i dont have a test pipe or downpipe yet, I was one of the original starter of the old SS, so i get my special hook up... We are doing a project or a 05 VIII and 06 MR, I will post all the results and pictures later on.... If you need any fab work for your EVO, lmk, i can see if i can get you a better hook ups.
