TBE fail ...
If you want a cheap fix just get a megan 02 housing from the forsale section for like 100 dollars. Then you will have a full tbe and it will save you the headache of doing it later when your craving for more power
the o2 house is defiantly not fun to do at all! I recommend if you plan to replace it, take your radiator out while doing it!! i smacked mine and broke it had to buy a new one. I got a QTP atmospheric o2 dump it sounds awesome and the quality is great.
But imo if you really like your car and want to mod it, take it off and replace it

sounds like your in a bind-- , replace all that crap with new stuff, aftermarket or other--what ever your prefer, but get it off there and done rt. Kevin d in dallas can do it rt.
I'm searching in the forsale section like a prowler for one lol
i dont have a test pipe or downpipe yet, I was one of the original starter of the old SS, so i get my special hook up... We are doing a project or a 05 VIII and 06 MR, I will post all the results and pictures later on.... If you need any fab work for your EVO, lmk, i can see if i can get you a better hook ups.

So today as I was researching on all this I stumbled upon some questions that I was wondering if you guys could answer :
1. With a aftermarket o2 housing will I run into any fitment issues , CEL , or any other kind of issue?
2. When removing the oem o2 housing do I HAVE to remove the DP ? Because mine is literally welded onto the o2 housing . The rest of the exhaust is welded together at the ends as well ... FAIL . My concern is the 2 bolts underneath that you must take off on the o2 housing , hence why I'm asking if I have enough clearance to take it off with the DP being on .
3. Aside from the aftermarket ebay/megan o2 housing that everybody is recommending , is there any other aftermarket o2 housings you guys suggest that have worked on your cars ?

if you get a cheap/ebay o2, there are fitment issues and you need to drill out the holes a little bit to make it fit.
yes the DP has to come off to get the 02 housing off
evo powermods has a O2 that has a external dump, lots of people like that. im not a fan of open dump cause it is insanely loud
