buschur double pumper

I got a buschur double pumper im trying to install. I want to make sure im doing everything properly so im attaching a picture of the way I have the pump now and about to drop it in.... should the suction hose & return be like I have it?

Also when installing this pump the Y fitting is just to replace the top part of the feed hose I have displayed in the picture as well?

Thanks

It came with the hobbs switch that activates at around 3psi.

Basically you undo the top feedline fitting and then at the bottom of the car theres the other end of the fitting that you remove and thats it....

What I ended up doing was connecting the Y fitting to the pump housing first and then fishing the line down. Then you connect the inline filter with arrow facing to the outlet ( away from the pump) and thats it.....

Then connect the one part of the hobb to the battery and run the line back to the fuel pump and crimp it into the wire and ground the other wire and done.....

You dont even need a write up for this because its so simple. Its literally removing 2 connector tubes (one at the fuel pump area at the top) and (one below) and running the Y fitting down the side of the gas tank (Easy) and then connecting it to the other end.

I will take a picture of my lower half and attach it here for reference.

Don't forget to prime the 2nd pump. With the car off put pressure to the seconary fuel pump switch and make sure it comes on

I'll do a small write up on this I guess, because there isn't any decent ones with pictures. Buschur pre dunks the pumps in gasoline now though so no need to prime anymore.
