Here the update. Wow.. I had 3 people plus me ready to help. Started to try and muscle it in. No dice. the output shaft that goes into the Tcase kept getting wedged against the PP. So... We drop the subframe. Gave us so more room. With Me on the under the car 2 jacks and alot of hand we wiggled the trans on. So that was good new.. There really was no tricks or anything. Dropping the Subframe did help and having alot of hands really helped. Also I removed the Radiator and all the hoses that gave me alot more room to work and to move the motor. If you pull the motor forward it does help align the trans.

Now that being said thank goodness my buddy noticed the o ring that is on the tcase was not there and when I found it its ripped. So if anyone has a part number for that I would appreaciate it. also if anyone knows where I can get a trans bolt I am missing one. Can't find it for the life of me. So if anyone knows where to get trans bolts and that oring on the tcase i would appreciate the help.

Got the T Case oring Friday. I slapped that puppy on and bolted up the TCase. I finished the car yesterday and been driving it. It feels a bit notchy but I think that is just normal cold tranny fluid notchness.. Other than that so far I am very happy. Tranny feels new. I have all 6 gears again. Big thanks to Ivey for his help and to EvoM for all there info and help.

This was a much bigger job than I had orginally thought. I am not sure I would tackle this again. It took alot of work and man hours. That effing dog bone mount could have been the dealth of me. Thank GOD my girlfriend is my mechanic and she has small hands.... I really wish i was able to document everything and have a 6sp DIY if anyone is thinking of doing this feel free to contact me. The stuff online is good but there are things with the 6sp that are different and it was all trial and error for me.

We stock most of that stuff mitsu OEM, call in and we can either ship to you or you can pickup.

Glad to hear it is doing well, MR trans rebuilds are alot more difficult to execute due to the lockouts and such.
