stage3 trasfer case
...was doin oil change last night at my buddys shop. after jackin the car up..noticed leak under the transfer case...im new to this so look at the pictures an let me know whats goin on with this...bolt that says oil on it. we opened it up to check oil... lil bit of of oil came out and my friends said looks like its got some water in it...

 

second picture thats where it was lil leak around the seal so he put some kinda sealer aroud it...temp

what do i gota do>>>how bad is it?

 

What is that goo covering? I can't even tell where its leaking... highlight the pictures maybe.

As for the liquid thats redline heavy weight shockproof, it looks pretty normal to me. I don't see any water, it looks like its got a little metal in it but if thats the first fluid change since you got it, thats normal.

 

we put that goo over it to help stop the leak i guess...should i take it to a tranz shop to get it checked out?
