Best Turbo for 600hp

Ok so gonna be doing a complete motor build this winter, on my quest for 600whp. i have a 4g64 block. Im trying to stay under $1000 if possible but not much over. So far im thinking PTE SCM61 56 Trim ~ Stage 5 Turbine Wheel

Specs:

Compressor Wheel Diameter – 61mm
Compressor Wheel Inducer - 2.416"
Compressor Wheel Exducer – 3.227"
Compressor Wheel Trim – 56
Compressor Cover Inlet Size – 3”
Compressor Cover Outlet Size – 2”
Bearing System – PTE Race 360
Turbine Housing A/R Ratio - .63
Turbine Wheel Style - T35 (Stage V)
Turbine wheel Inducer – 2.795"
Turbine wheel Exducer – 2.437"
Turbine Wheel Trim - 76

what do you think? i will be doing 8.3:1 pistons, 280cams, 3" turbo back 1200cc injectors with meth injection tuning on 93 pump 25-30psi

man, there are tons of options! Probably go with a PTE 6262 or something along those lines. It will be able to make that kind of power on pump with proper support and tuning.

If you're on a budget and want to go T3, you can't beat a Borg Warner non-extended tip S362. it'll make 600whp and spool pretty well for it's size. A few local DSMers have put their cars in the 10s on pump/meth with it.

61mm is a kind of old design. There are definitely a few others that I would use before that. Any of the HTA 35Rs, the 6262, the FS635, 6562, etc.

A 6262 journal bearing would be the way to go. You can pick them up for $1k pretty easily. The Borg Warner are pretty good, but they went up in price most places and are over $1k.

so im trying to descide between the 6262, 6265, but then for a little extra and still in my budget theres the 6765 which can support 755hp, so if down the road i want more hp i wouldnt have to get a differnt turbo.
