sierra sierra's car was running at altitude, and ill post the dynos up as soon as they get back from Superlap battle. They tested the EFR 8374 1.05 a/r - and for kicks did a mismatch test with the 74mm turbine wheel and a 91mm compressor from the 9180. this was to prove a debate, and it performed as we expected - the 8374 will remain :

i would not recommend the EFR 9180 for a stock RB26 - this is wayyy too much turbocharger for the stock RB. The 76-70 would be a GREAT match for it, and if you did some headwork and cams the 8374 would be another excellent option. Additionally for the RB - i think the Twinscroll 0.92 a/r with internal WG would be the best option to go with (Thats what im using for my my car)

heres a pic of an R34 GTR RB26 w/ 8374 IWG

heres a pic of a different R34 GTR RB26 w/ twin 6258 turbos IWG:

agree - do you have an evo6 radiator? that would be required for this type of setup.

just the turbine wheel alone accounts for a big chunk of the price. The stainless turbine housing and ball bearing design are top-quality and the other features are just icing on the cake.

Geoff,

Sorry I wasnt able to make it to SEMA to see these in person. Hopefully JR was able to swing by and make up for it

Without getting into much specifically in the open, I am curious about what the Sierra Sierra car is doing power per pound to compare it to mine. For instance, I am making 590 at 23psi, and 625 at 26psi on 92 octane.

The Sierra Sierra Evo is a Mitsubishi 4G63 2.2L Cosworth Block.

Aren't you still on the LR2.4L?

Speaking of can't wait to try them.

When are we going to get spool numbers and dyno plots?

I'm sold if the EFR-7670 can hit 30psi by 3000 rpm on a 2.0L!

Yes I am. I also ran a long rod 2.2 so I know what that does power per pound as well at 23psi. Not sure why I ever picked that as my benchmark but its a good boost level I have tuned almost all combinations at at one time or another.

Yeah, I remember you ran the LR2.2L.
If I can't find a buyer for my 156mm Pauters, then I'll build the LR2.0L.

156mm would be a long rod.

Whatever do you mean sir?

I bought the 156mm Pauter Rods with intention of stuffing them into a 4G64 and making a LR2.4L, which still may happen someday.

But then I thought, that will be a transmission breaker, so I decided to run a LR2.0L and probably still will, if they do not sell.
They are forsale at $630 shipped BTW...

If they don't sell, then I'll build a LR2.0L using Manley's 88mm forged crankshaft, 156mm Pauter Rods and Custom Mahle Motorsports 2618 Alloy Pistons.

If they do sell, then I'll build a 4G63 2.16L using Manley's Billet 94mm crankshaft, Lightweight 150mm Oliver Rods and 85.5mm x 1.248" CH Custom Mahle Motorsports 2618 Alloy Pistons.

4g64, 94mm crank, 1.13 CH pistons, and a 159mm rods
That's the LR2.2 I designed and had made

Let me fix that.

Nice, have you ran it yet?
