thanks for the feedback on the EFR turbos - the billet compressor wheel, integrated BOV, and investment cast stainless steel housings are definitely exciting. once you see the inside of these stainless housings, and how smooth they are its really impressive - porting these would serve no purpose.

I got a just got a shipment of pre-production EFR's in, my office feels like its christmas:

PICS!!!

So all of the EFRs will come with a SS turbine housing (like the option they have for smaller BEP stuff)? What sort of setup is there for the integrated BOV/DV?

I may have missed this somewhere earlier... but what sort of price point would most of these run at? Hypothetically, my buddy is running an S362 on his evo 9 and I'd maybe try to talk him into one of these guys... what sort of cost would he be looking into for a mid 70 lb/min one? As to be an upgrade over his S362. Feel free to PM me if you'd rather.

Like the price of the garrett turbos of the size your looking at. Not exact but to give you an idea.

I was told pics and full details can finally be posted at the end of this week! Ill start a new thread "EFR Turbochargers Borg Warner/Full-Race" as soon as I get the green light. the pictures will explain a lot

pricing will not be finally released until SEMA, but it will be reasonable, particularly considering all the technology and features included. The internal BOV, boost control solenoid and internal WG option will save some coin as well (if applicable)

yes all of the EFR turbos will come with a SS turbine housing in twinscroll T4 (divided) or singescroll T3 (undivided). The integrated BOV/DV comes standard, at no charge. If you wish to run without it, its very simple to remove.

correct, titanium turbine wheel, oil and water cooled CHRA (water is not mandatory) and high-end dual ball bearings. full specifications going up on full-race.com shortly

sorry, the vband clamp did not pass borgwarner's durability testing so this design was not released. EFR turbine housings are stainless steel so if you wanted to do it badly enough, you can weld a vband flange on, but i dont think that is worth the effort when you could just go twinscroll from the onset.

EFR series largest turbo is a 67mm inducer, the S400 airwerks turbos remain the choice for the 71mm+ range
