Since I seem to get this PM alot, I am going to breakdown what we charge for this motor typically. This is my version of it as I have in my car, but please realise there are options to pursue at any point in the build. This is what it would cost for MINE, but we can change things like cams, valvesprings, rods, pistons, etc.
Engine pricing follows this thread-
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ortblocks.html
4200 for shortblock + 600 for core
With the following adjustments for the LR2.4
GSC 156mm rods (+ 500)
Custom pistons for LR2.4 (+300)
Add'l machine work to clearance rods (+200)
That puts the complete short block at 5800, we do offer to buy back a good 2.0L core for 750 as well (its worth more than the 2.4 core). Some of the other options we can discuss depend on what parts you have to reuse of course or might have laying around for the day you do a build. Things like an intake manifold (I am using the Magnus Cast), fuel system, can all be added or not included. Something as simple as the SD setup installed ready to go can be included if need be.
Then we can add the head, keep in mind you have all the parts to bolt it together at this point so you are only paying for the actual work to the head. If you want the same cylinder head as I have-
Race Port- 800 (includes surface and final lapping)
SuperTech valve set (std)- 270
Kiggly Valvesprings- 400
Kiggly HLA- 175
GSC custom cams (Mine more or less)- 600
Sub total for the head- 2245
Total engine without install or core- 8045
Thanks
Aaron

Sounds a lot like my build too
EVERYONE should be buying a LR2.4 from no one else but ER. They have their **** together and have amazing customer service! Aaron will go out of his way to make sure you are more than happy with ER's service!
Thanks again ER

A motor capable of making 800whp, revving as high as possible, being as reliable as we can make them, and quickly as possible is not free/cheap. Speed costs money so the question is how fast do you want to go?
p.s.- you have more comments in yours but I have x2 views

Went back to the dyno on kill and didnt make 800
But the car did make a little bit of power
-

ER LR2.4 9:1 compression
Jeff Bush ported IX head
Magnus cast intake manifold
GSC 156mm rods
GSC 12mm camshafts
ETS 4" intercooler
ETS 3.5" exhaust
ETS 3586 single scroll kit with .82 A/r
FIC 2150cc injectors
E85 from the pump, not mixed
SD with Omnipower 4 bar
Power Enterprise 1.2mm HG

It picked up about 1hp from 37psi to 38psi so I am either up against the .82 housing, the 38mm gate, or both. First high boost pull after getting the tune checked out (I normally always make one or 2 low boost pulls) blew a pipe off. After dicking around with that and getting to pull the bumper I got back on it and made 3 pulls right at 792-793. There is simply nothing more left in this turbo on this particular combo. I put all the timing the car would want right up to MBT and so I can say this is MAXED for what I have. I really had been looking forward to breaking into the 800s on the stock ECU, but I'll take this...for now
