Thanks Scott.
Gonna go back to E85 for good on this one this was the last of the pumpgas adventures. I have my trusty Civic for a commuter and as of Wednesday will have a '02 GS300 with a T4 60-1 on it. We'll call it a 3 year lease
I have to freshen some stuff up on it and get to what the original dream was but it will be my trip car.

So I have been tossing around the idea of finally throwing something other than a stock throttlebody on the car and see if there is anything to be had. We tried it on Jesse's car but even with a larger intercooler, 3" piping and a 75mm TB the gains dont seem to justify the expense. I am making more power per pound than he is but since his combo and mine are now fairly different I wonder if there is a practical reason to change.
I like having the extra money to spend on my quads (building a drag only one now), so swapping for swapping sake isnt really something I wanna do.
Thoughts?

It was worth 8-9whp on Jesse's car. I think we need to put cam gears on his and play with it a bit based on some insight from GrocMax now though. However it didnt seem to justify the money spent. Power under the curve was enhanced but I am not too worried about that since my displacement more than makes up for what his 2.0 was lacking prior.
I am open to test, but I am going to be choosy about what goes on it I think.

Do you think a q45 will work with the stock ecu? I went ahead and put 3" pipes on my car as I wanted to build a new set anyway, but still on the stock ecu. The car still spools nice, well for what it is anyway lol.

I can get the spool back it had by playing with the crack pressure on the Tru Boost I think. Not sure what way the TPS works on the Q45. Never know till we try I guess
