Simple theory guys:

If you organize 3 lemonade stands, give each person the same ingredients for the final product, I can solemnly swear that each glass of lemonade will taste different.
The real tests/results will be seen when the FP BLACK officially goes out into the public domain....

The best any of us could remember is that weight on Project White. It's a 2003 EVO, with a sunroof and everything else complete. It is missing the front and rear crash beams only. We don't weigh on farm scales or junk yard scales, we have 4 corner scales here at the shop and I'd guess the fuel tank was close to empty.

That weight is probably pretty close David. My 2004 Evo weighed 2990lb with 1/4 tank of gas. I've pulled the front and rear bumper beams, evap canister, a couple random brackets, sound deadener in the car and striped the trunk. My car also has a sunroof.

Wow. What a reasoning!
Ryu, if your car weighs the same as project white, you're either liing or using a crappy scale

COME ON

Project white must be a light weight!!!! Mine weights 3350 with me, a quarter tank of gas. I've removed both crash beams, AC, spare tire and jack, most everything in the trunk.

This is according to our NHRA track scale.

I figured it would, but if there's some kind of an advantage, then there would/should be some kind of a market. I certainly understand the price issue, but From what I've read, that's one of the real concerns with stock frame turbos is the journal bearings' life span with wheels this big. BB turbos definitely have the longevity covered, but could they bring an even faster spool out of the black?
I've never taken apart an Evo turbo, but i can't imagine installing ball bearings would be a big undertaking for a competent machinist as long as the material is there. I also don't know how big ball bearing cartridges for a turbo actually are.
