You want a FP black, with a stock bottom end running 87 octane. So you want a turbo that's only using half it's potential ??? This turbo is designed to run high boost 35 psi +, lets see how many runs you make on your stock bottom end. Not dissin anyone that might not know better, but for those of you that are interested in building an Evo this isn't something I'd recommend unless you pockets are deep and are planning on just replacing the bottom end once it blows.
What else is there?

If I'm not mistaken, Ryu stated that the clutch was slipping in 4th gear at the track. That could definitely affect the trap speed.

But to get back on topic, I can't wait to see more results from the black.

Probably for the things that he carries in his car seats apparently from Post 302..

That was a little over the top...

Thats one of the best responses ever. David and I both agree. I started laughing outloud when I read that.

We are taking orders now. Out of our first batch that will be arriving VERY soon we have 2 left I believe. They're selling quick.

We're taking orders now or they can also be ordered online.

The HTA86 @ 8000 was 720, the Black was 675, so you can clearly see the 86 is really beginning to pull above 7000, with 45 whp more by 8000. I don't think .5 psi is worth much more than 3-4 whp. Still looking for the graphs. I may not have kept them, but I definitely have the logs and data.
Just to clarify, you're comparing results from different dynos and different days? Come on Tom!

LOL! it isn't illegal to carry the ammo. Now if you have something under the seat, in the glove box, etc. and no permit...

I have to agree with post 302 though, why would you go to the strip with extra crap laying around? I think one of the people involved in that conversation wants to race (legally, at the strip) an SLR McLaren - I hope he removes everything he had laying around as well as a couple things that are bolted down to have a chance!
