BR presents the new FP BLACK HTA82!
anyone planning on putting this on their stock bottom end are morons. Yeah it will work, but for how long? While you're at it, add a 100 shot... I just don't understand some people. You want a FP black, with a stock bottom end running 87 octane. So you want a turbo that's only using half it's potential ??? This turbo is designed to run high boost 35 psi +, lets see how many runs you make on your stock bottom end. Not dissin anyone that might not know better, but for those of you that are interested in building an Evo this isn't something I'd recommend unless you pockets are deep and are planning on just replacing the bottom end once it blows.
As for this signature:
Worlds Quickest Stock Block Evo IX
FP Red/Stock Block 10.301@132 1.56 60ft
Project White ran 10.35 with a 1.4X sixty foot time at 138.8 mph with one of the best drivers/shifters I know in the car. For a car to run 10.30 at 132 with a 1.56 sixty foot tells me something and it's not that the car weighs 3400 pounds..........

But to get back on topic, I can't wait to see more results from the black.
Thats one of the best responses ever. David and I both agree. I started laughing outloud when I read that.
We're taking orders now or they can also be ordered online.

The HTA86 at 41 psi 'catches' the BLACK at 40.5 psi at 6950 RPMS as far as whp. At 7000 on the HTA86 we made 692, the Black is 685. At 7500 the HTA86 is at 711, the Black was 682. The HTA86 @ 8000 was 720, the Black was 675, so you can clearly see the 86 is really beginning to pull above 7000, with 45 whp more by 8000. I don't think .5 psi is worth much more than 3-4 whp. Still looking for the graphs. I may not have kept them, but I definitely have the logs and data.

I have to agree with post 302 though, why would you go to the strip with extra crap laying around? I think one of the people involved in that conversation wants to race (legally, at the strip) an SLR McLaren - I hope he removes everything he had laying around as well as a couple things that are bolted down to have a chance!
