first off im new here i drive a 2004 evo white with the ssl package its got 36000 on the clock.. i have a bigger inter cooler megan racing header and full 3 inch exhaust and hks intake and some other odds and ends

but yesterday after work i was driving home and i shut my car off and all the dash lights stayed on except the cel light (i think its burnt out) since i have owned the car i have never had any codes and all passed inspection.. anyways the lights stayed on and the car would turn over but not start i disconected the battery and let it sit for a few minutes and it did the same so i disconnected the battery and let it sit more final it started up and was fine i drove it home and pluged my scaner in and it hat a po 113 intake air temp code?.. and i shut it off and all the lights came back on and it wouldnt start so i disconnected the batery and reconnected it .. and now its fine i think? any idea..

Some help? This '.' is the period. It separates distinct ideas. Without it, you would be writing run on sentences using 'and' or 'or' as connectives between ideas and it makes it really hard for people to read because it makes it difficult to see when one idea ends and another begins to form a coherent idea of what the person is trying to communicate and since we speak English on this forum it might be a good place to use it especially when you're asking people for help so do us all a favor and type in coherent sentences please I mean it's not that difficult or anything and damn this sentence is getting really long and I hope you know what I'm saying by now.

Oh hey there, pot. Likin the contribution.

If I can't decipher the problem and the conditions leading up to the problem, then I can't very well diagnose it. I'm trying to help him out by suggesting a coherent explanation of the conditions necessary to reproduce the problem and what he has done so far to attempt to diagnose it, and what conditions (if any) changed in the course of diagnosis.

Okay the problem is intermittent, so that's a good starting point. This usually suggests that the problem is most likely due to poor connection quality with the IAT. Have you inspected the IAT harness and connections to make sure that they're secure? Inspect the plug, making sure that the pins aren't backed out, check the harness for damage, etc.

The IAT is part of the MAF and integrated into it's harness. What did you do to clean the MAF out? Make sure there's no moisture or junk in the connector.

yea i used maf cleaner and all the connectors are fine i dont think its related to the problem

is there an ignition relay or something of that sort because all my lights stay on and my car would keep running after i turn the ignition off and take the key out .. but now its fine i just dont want to get stuck any where

So when you take the key out, it's still running as if you have a turbo timer installed? Does it do this every time you shut the car off or just some of the time?

Sometimes P0113 codes are just intermittent moisture problems and go away on their own. I didn't want to rule it out, though. Just keep in mind sometimes it happens once and goes away. The fact that you had the MAF off the car to clean it makes this more likely the case.
