Any advice i have tried wd40 and heating it up, the m effer is rounded off so i cant get much of a hold on it. if i do buy a new one would it be ok to just get the universal sensor and put my connector on it? thanks

take the 02 housing, put it in a vice and take out the o2 with some locking pliers (vice grips)!

As far as using the universal one, i dont know...

Use a really big vise-grip.

Wow...exactly what I went through last night. Used an O2 socket, rounded it off. Got a torch, heated it up, went at it with vice grips and completely shredded the hex.

That sensor is still in the stock housing. I'm currently driving around without a primary for a day or two with my Megan because I had to order a new sensor. Keeping it under 3k and zero problems.

Kroil.

It's simply the best rusted part loosening agent there is.

y u taking the sensor off. ive had problems with this as well. if u can leave it on then just leave it on...heat will work but most likely the sensors threads will strip out

Take it out, put it in a vice and use a that appropriate big wrench (I dont remember which one off the top, but its 22 or 23mm, I think)

The wrench I use is a regular wrench, just quite big since its such a big size and it give you way enough torque to get out the most stubborn O2 sensor.

I think i am going to just have to buy a new one at this point it is pretty shredded up and i dont think i have the means to heat it up enough i had to soldering torches on it for about five minuted or better and didnt do a thing as for why i need to take it out is because i am swaping the o2 housing to a EPM O2 dump

I hope ur epm doesnt have fitment issues like my friend. His burnt a hole thru his lower intercooler hose. IMO Map 02 is the route to go, no fitment issues. I almost went with the EPM but was talked out of it, just my .02 cents tho.
