I just got a new wastegate actuator and it has three ports/nipples. Two side by side on the top half and one in the middle of the two halfs. Which do i hook up vac lines to?

 

What brand? Did you receive any instructions/paperwork?

 

I got it from a friend that had bought it for his turbo but doesnt know what brand it is i can grab a pic if that would help

Im thinking all three need a vac/boost line? when i looked again it seems all three are on the same half

 

If all 3 are on the same sideof the piston then 2 of them would have to be blocked of if you don't use them.

 

i started the car with only a vac line hooked to one port on the top ( the one its hooked up to in the pics), and i felt to see if the other nipples had vac, the one next to it did but the other didnt, im thinking its for boost only so could i just plug it up or do i need boost to it?

 

I pluged up the two nipples that are still open in the pics, im getting 10-12psi up to 4k then it goes to 15.5ps, idk

 

now its like 12psi up to 3.5-4k then 16-17psi up to redline? wtf? i check and theres no vac leak that i can find and my boost/vac gauge is saying i have perfect vac.

 

ok so i figured it out the top two are for the same chaber and the one in the middle is for a differnt one, there all vac/boost. So i ran a vac line to one of the top ones and the one in the middle and plugged the other top one. I get 10psi( which is what its suppose to be) but then it creeps to 15 by 4k ish, I think i have to port the wastegate as its meant for a 2.0 and i have i 2.4.
