Removing oil filter housing....

Has anyone done this before? What is involved in the job? From just looking at it it doesnt look too hard it looks like you have to pull the belt tensioner an it should unbolt from there...

Thanks

Bump

Also does anyone know if the Evo 8 share the same oil filter housing as the evo 9?

They both use different parts numbers but pictures show that they look the same...

After checking again, it looks like the Evo 8 filter housings do not have the oil pressure sender switch...

Can anyone confirm this?
If so, is there anything else different? Im guessing its exactly the same except there is no port for the pressure sender to install into...

I don't know how the housing compare but my Evo 8 has the oil sender on the back of the block near the transmission.
