try pulling off the underhood bushings and slather those bad boys up with anti-seize. Make those c-clips you slide onto those bushings clear the linkage. Those c-clips should rotate freely.

...... Already solved. 29$ shipped is a steal even with some fabrication needed to be done. Congrats on fixing the problem again

What helped me is lube on the shifter cables!!!
