HKS hypower exhaust

I was just curious I have a full hks hy power exhaust and im having horrrible fitment issues. I am rubbing on the passenger side floor boards and the tip is melting the bumper. I am curious to see if there is any other people having fitment problems or if it just my particular evo 9. i can get pitcures if needed to show the problems

the bumper melting issue is commonly cured by an exhaust shield. as to fitment issue i am unsure, but wanted to mention the idea of the shield.

ya if the tip is touching the bumper then i say just get a shield, or if you not wanting to spend the money get a longer rubber hanger so the tip isnt on the bumper anymore

Hitting the floorboard? That's pretty uncommon. Did you have this installed?
We have encountered a lot of the bumper issues in the past, but not really with the Hi-Power unless the customer purchased JDM exhaust for a USDM bumper or vice-versa. The remedy is usually one of these... http://www.carbigncraft.com/catalog/...products_id=21

Please post a pic of the fitment so we can get an idea.

Also, yeah the shield on the rear bumper is a good idea.
