10.0:1 is what most are going with these days. I'm going to run 11.0:1 on my 2.1L build

I wouldnt go less than 9.0 but I am not 100% sure I would go too much higher. My car seems to be working well at 10:1 and made 634whp/531tq (Corrected) at 30psi dropping to 27 relatively quickly but holding to 9k.

10:1 is really popular right now. you will have more power when you are not on boost as well. The only problem i have found with higher compression ratios is they are a LOT less forgiving on the tune and when things go bad they go really bad.

I did 10,1 because my car is going to be primarily an e85+ car so I wanted the extra compression to take advantage of it. I am not sure that I would necessarily recommend it for a pumpgas car, though mine does seem to work well.

Pump and high comp doesn't seem like a good idea like the above gentlemen recommended.

My 2c is perhaps use 9:1 its more forgiving on PUMP and better throttle response then lower comp ratios.

What peak boost level do you hope to be running on 93 octane pump gas?

atleast 25psi, not sure how much more i know the my tuner has atleast 5 cars i know off running 26psi on 93 pump with 0 knock. So it seems that 9:1 wont yeild as much hp at the same boost as 10:1 but well be safer so 9:1 it is.

You can also alway do 9.5:1 to be right in the middle.

^^^ I was just about to say the same

If you plan on running 100+ oct and/or e85... go 10.0:1

If you plan on staying 91,92 or 93 pump, I don't think going over 9.5:1 is a very bright idea.

GL!

9:1 or 9.5:1 at the higest. If it were me, I wouldn't get too greedy, keep things pretty flexible, and just go 9:1. I'd rather be able to be flexible on fuel and boost than have to base those two on my CR, which isn't quite as easy to change.
