Swapped 4G63 w/Lancer engine

For the past two years I have been pumping what measly amount of money I make into my '95 eclipse GST and now find myself carless . But to get to the point, the blown 4G63 was replaced with a '94 Lancer 4G63T motor from japan. The car seemed to be running fine for about two weeks until I replaced the rear Oxygen sensor on the advice of the shop that said the scanner read failure on rear O2 sensor (I had already replaced front O2 earlier in the week, things went fine) well right after firing it up the car bogged down and ran very choppy. I have an air/fuel ratio gauge and it was pinned all the way on rich, the car runs so rich that fuel comes out the pipe. Well the shop has gone through and through they said and cant figure out why. The scanner sais o'2 sensors are fine but one of the temp sensors is reading 40 degrees and there is a failure reading for a sensor originally used for the 4G63 but not on the lancer motor. They have told me I am basically **** out of luck. Please if you have any advice what so ever on what to checl out or even where to turn for info please let me know.

Wait a min. I'm a bit confused, unless you're somewhere in Euro.

An eclipse. That places you in the US, unless imported an eclipse overseas.

You mean you have an Evo 1-3 motor????

Go to the DSM board and find Lancerman. He can fix or diagnosis almost anything for a G63t motor. A couple months ago, he bought and Evo 1 and 3 motor, not 100% sure on the E1 motor.

btw: More than likely, you have a sensor failure somewhere on the emission side of the equation. Or a cat-converter failure? Did you put bigger injectors?

Gonna move this to Evo tech forums since this really has nothing to do with the US Lancer.

Sounds like a parts compatibility issue maybe since he keeps referring to a Lancer motor, maybe he means a DOHC 4G93T? Granted if he was lucky enough to find one?
