Need New rods/pistons, etc. SUGGESTIONS!?
You might get flamed since there a quite a few threads on this, but from what I have read, rods are Oliver, Manley turbo tuff I beams, the MAPerformance howard rods, Cosworth, you can't go wrong with any of those. Pistons seem to be JE or Wiseco.
On a side note, I know of two people locally running the cheap Eagle h beam rods and they don't seem to be having any issue so far @ 650+whp levels. Of course, on e85 there isn't too much risk of detonation and their tunes are good so that helps.
Oh yea, forgot about Ross.
