Dynoflash is da shiznit! 312 whp on ****ty gas!
Thank you Al
Is the same true for the ignition maps?
also is it possible to have 4 combinations of maps? (ie. high advance/rich fuel or low advance/leaner fuel or high advance/leaner fuel or low advance/rich fuel?)
Al that is a very poor excuse using Shiv like he hasnt already figured it out you know he has!
Al this is also very fundamental stuff and no trade secrets are at jepardy- this is tuning basics 101 and you should have no problem with giving this out. You know that and I know that.

Under certian operating conditions its on Map 2 and under otrher conditions its on Map # 1
I know EXACTLY when the car runs on map 1 and when it runs on map 2
I can re-write either map at will - totally
For instance when we tune a car for bigger injectors we scale down the maps - BOTH fuel maps by a set percentage
IF the car was on the MAP # 2 you would know it right away as it is a LOT richer and has less timing
I am NOT going to disclose under what conditions the ecu runs on each map - we know EXACTLY when it swicthes back and forth - but for me its a trade secret and i'm not going to give Shiv a free education - let him find out same way I did

Good work Al on those excellent numbers.Lets please, to all keep all the arguing out of these posts. I am tired of trying to read multiple post's on re-flashes and all I read is an argument. I, like others want to learn not watch Jerry Springer.
Let shiv come out with his own product and then I will be happy to talk shop
I have been more than open about all my modifications and info with end users who are working on their own cars
Only a few vendors have this reflash machine so I see no need to tell them all how it works (pardon the play on words)!

Nice work Al.... I wonder how much real power my car has.... when my car broke again at Atco i ran 12.1@113 letting off at 4th and i beat my friend's stage 3 s4 that was running 12.0s consistently the same day and he trapped around 115 all night on pump gas.... and all i have is ur stage rev with minor adjustments of the safc.... well i hope my car gets fixed soon so i can get Dynoflash soon and see my car's full potential

MP5, dude give it a rest. What do you hope to accomplish? You've already blatantly called Al a big fat liar in another post so clearly you have no intentions of using him as a tuning resource, yet you perpetually ask questions under the pretense of just trying to learn. Since you have backed Shiv so adamently in other posts, why don't you ask him your questions as you have made it abundantly clear you prefer to work with him, and it is common knowledge that many shops are using the same tuning tool (i.e. answer to question should be the same anywhere, why ask here.) You've made it clear you think Shiv is the better teacher, so drop this class and get out of the classroom so to speak.
All this pissin match crap you are perpetuating just makes it harder now/later to find useful information. Take it off forum and ask all your questions.
You still haven't answered my question to you from the fuel pump post, so it looks like you might want to spend some time backing your own claims instead of flaming away.

Guys, I believe I am having the same problems as you guys are talking about.
I dynoed my car at 380whp after a couple runs to get the new injectors, fuel pump, FMIC and cams dialed in. Then we continued to do more and more runs. The power went down the hill and we were never able to get it back.
The final power output was 368whp. I am unsure what happend at the time, but now believe the car went into a secondary map of fuel or ignition.
Also my trap speeds are also down a lot as well. I am using the s-afc 2 for tuning and don't plan on changing it as it is so simple, ut problems like this have us confused.
Any info you can give me to get my power back would be great. I really just need a little advice. Can I just reset the ECU?
