A little help..

Ok so today I was doin some routine maintenance on the evo. An oil change and such.. I did a compression check which numbers came out normal. I also did a boost leak check and found that the #4 valve cover spark plug ring gasket is leaking.. For the past few days I have noticed that my idle has been jumping all over the place holding 2k while sitting.. I have already checked my tps and iac sensors they are good to go.. The seals are getting replaced regarless but would like to figure this idle issue out! thanks guys any help or thought would be great!

Mod list:

Ported coated o2 housing
Ported stock Exhuast manifold
B/C 280 cams/ valve springs retainers
HKS cam gears

Did you check to see if your PCV valve is not stuck?

Fix your boost leaks. I'm thinking your PCV valve is leaking otherwise you have blow-by since your crankcase is pressurizing. You might considering picking up one of these sets: http://www.maperformance.com/map-cra...acuum-kit.html

Did you also check to make sure you didn't bump any vacuum lines by any chance?
