Question Heater core location?

he was up everyone! i need some help about where is my heater core located at on my 2003 Evo 8, is it on the driver side or passenger side of car?

neither.. it's dead smack in the middle, you have to remove the dash to get at it, and discharge the a/c I think.

If you you look under the dash just to the right of the pedals, you will see this white colord box, it's inside of that.

The heater core you can locate by looking in the engine bay and finding the 2 heater hoses and where they go into the cabin of the car. From there you should be able to figure it out, but you have to take out a ton of stuff to get to it on the inside. It is a PITA without removing the whole dash also.

mine just went dead last nite and now I feel your pain...did anybody get back to you in regards to best place to purchase the damn thing?

My ex's went in her 04 RS. Came out in the am and the floor was covered in coolant. They replaced it under warranty. I was kinda happy as it's a PITA job for sure so it saved me a day of labor hehehe.

turns out tech said there was a crack in either the inlet or outlet tube
