Syncros??? TRE Built Tranny ?????

Ok so heres the story. I have a 06 evo mr with a 5 speed swap from TRE. I got it about a year ago and latley its been very notchy to get into gear without warming it up for a while. It also keeps kicking me out of gear in third and fourth but no other gears will normally driving. So today im driving home from a Christmas party at a normal speed and in fourth gear. Well long story short it went to kick me out again but instead of actually kicking me out it just started grinding the **** out of the gear and it got stuck to the point were it would not release. So i used some hulk strength to get it out of gear and put it in first. I drove home with only 1st 2nd and 5th. So my question is before i bring it to John Shep do you think the syncros went bad or is it worse?? anything will help because when it comes to transmissions i know nothing. thanks

I have a similiar problem with my stock 06 mr transmission too, but in a way worst case. only gear it goes in is reverse, lol. I think my synchro got fried too. I drove home from work with no problem, then next morning going to work, my car only move 20 feet from my house. looks like i gotta get a rebuilt.
