bad knock sensor???

My car is at the dyno but they have not been able to do definite pulls because there is knock showing all the time, even with Q16 fuel. The mechanic says it si definitely not knock but some other problem that is making the sensor crazy. He told me that he will change the knock sensor first to discard the posibilty of a bad sensor. What do you guys think? Anyone has experienced something like this?

Yes, that is what my tuner said. He is doing that right now. I hope that is the problem.
Thanks

Hey I may be having a similar problem. Any idea how much the new sensor was..And where the actually sensor is located? Im assuming its on the back of the block?

Thanks for any info! Let us know if this helps your problem.

I will call my tuner tomorrow. He will have some info about the sensor. I will let you know what happened and if that was the problem. According to what I read in the link on one of the replies to this thread, it can also be caused by the rattling in the new excedy twin plate clutch. Lets see what happens and I will post results.
