Also, you said weigh in at about 3000 lbs without driver...what did you take out? Anything easy besides the spare tire to take out for say...weekend track days?

You've got a Shepherd built TC right?
Thanks, I appreciate the generous compliments on my driving. I have never done any business with Shep yet. There is a local guy "Lancerman" a.k.a. 94AWDcoupe on Evom who has an excellent reputation with Mitsu drivetrains. The only thing I have had done to my Tcase is cryotreatment and the larger bolt upgrade on the casing, and that was only done recently. Still my original tcase. Looked brand new when it was cracked open.

Yes I am. The outlet pipe is so short I see no need to go with a larger diameter.

Easy things to pull out and put back in would include:
front strut bar
front passenger seat
rear seats
front crash bar
wing

Not really too many things worth just yanking out of the car for the weekend, but the above list should be good for about a 0.1 drop in ET.

Could I see your mod list? Plus how long have you been doing 500+ hp with the stock block? I have been kind of worried on doing 500 on the stock block. Should I be ok? I am going to be getting a black sometime soon. Do you all think that should be my next step with the mods I have in my sig? Oh yeah I am going to be putting on some 1000cc. We don't have e85 were I live.

I would stick with either a HTA green or Red.

Like D and Ralliart stated I would suggest sticking with nothing larger then a Red on the stock block. What I am doing is risky. There are no guarantee's a factory motor will hold at this level even with a knock free tune. I just have faith in my motor. I will post a complete mod list once the car is finished.

Nice one Ryu,just read the whole thread, you seem like my kind of a guy,I have been running a bb FP Red turbo on stock internals for about 6 months now, which is a replacement for my green that I 've run on the stock block for 2years, boost was/is at 30psi held to the redline with both green and red,all the best with this!!

keeping watch.....local guy here ran around on stock block with a GT35R and a tune.....550-623 for 2 years straight....never popped the motor.

Its risky but doable....whats the worst that can happen.....just plan for building a motor or better yet buy another shortblock and build it while you play hide and go seek with your stock rods.

Going 2.3 off the rip isn't a solid answer always.....I've seen to many locals have issues with a 2.3 motor. I'll keep it stock as long as it holds to together.

I plan on running anywhere from 500-550 on E85 if at all possible on my stock block......quests like this help me keep faith in the face of all the people telling me I'm crazy.
