Hey when you ran your stock turbo to do 10's what injectors where you using? Did you stick with the stock one or did you upgrade to bigger ones? I am going to be doing the black around tax time. I know I am going to be using 1000cc for that set up. Could I go head and get the 1000cc and put them on my car now and just detune the injectors for my stock turbo set up?

 

Pretty much. I recently had the transmission repaired and cryo'd for good measure. The transfercase was reshimmed, casing bolts were upgraded, and the internals were cryo'd as well just for added safety. It is the original transfercase with 46,000 miles on it. Still looked brand new inside when it was opened up.

 

I was on stock injectors with the stock turbo. I am upgrading to 1,000's as well with the black. Personally I would just wait and install the 1,000's when your ready to have the car retuned. Why bother having to make adjustments twice along with having to make sure your a/f is still in check after rescaling for the 1,000's with your current setup. Keep it simple.

As you know already best of luck on your quest for 9's. I know you'll get it soon enough. We might have to load my car up in a month or so and bring it down to your local tracks. I have a few things planned.

Good luck man i hope you break into the 9s. You are doing exactly what im gunna be doing here shortly. Im on the Stock Block and ECU on the Red and went 10.83 on 100 octane on 27 pounds. I want to upgrade to the black to. Let me know how you like it. Good luck man
